How do I sign my child up for the program?

What are the costs to participate?
The league is determined by your child's age and will automatically be selected by our League One registration program.
Tee Ball - $50
Pony - $75
Minors BB & SB - $100
Majors BB & SB - $125
Babe Ruth - $200
Barre Community Baseball is a nonprofit organization that relies on registration fees and sponsor donations in order to run. As program expenses, which include field maintenance, equipment, apparel, and more, continue to increase, we must continually review and adjust our registration fees as needed to keep up.
We do offer scholarship opportunities for those wishing to request one.
As an additional way to raise the needed funds for the season, we are also now offering an option to contribute a donation to our program when you sign up.
Are there scholarships available for my child?

Is there a residency requirement to sign up for Barre Community Baseball & Softball?
There is no residency requirement. Practices and games are usually held on fields in Barre with occasional travel to nearby towns. As long as families are willing to travel to sites, we welcome any baseball & softball loving kids!
What are the age requirements to sign up for Barre Community BB &SB?
Barre Community Baseball & Softball is part of Little League International and we follow their guidelines. We have programs from age 4 through age 12. You can check age charts for the baseball and softball programs to help determine the level your child is at.
Can my child still participate in softball or baseball if they’re older than 12?
Each season we look for volunteers and players to from a Babe Ruth team/league. If we are able to build a team, we will make sure the community is aware and able to sign up. Please make sure to follow our Facebook page for updates on the regular and special seasons.
When does the season start?
The season usually starts in May with sign-ups starting in March/April. Please make sure to follow us on Facebook to keep updated as the season develops.
How do I sign up to coach?
We need coaches for minor and major league in softball and baseball every year! If you’re interested, please email us with information about which program you’re interested in coaching. The coordinator of that program will be in touch.

How do I sign up to volunteer?
Our program is organized and run 100% by volunteers and we are always in need of more volunteers. From cleaning fields, to helping with fundraisers or coaching, we welcome any volunteers. For more information, please email us.
